A gastronomic tour of Otaki and Te Horo

Have you ever taken a gastronomic tour of Otaki and Te Horo Food outlets? Well you are in for a tasty treat.

In the morning, you will be assailed by the warm aroma of a cooked breakfast or delicious pastries; at noon, you will not be able to resist the craving for a long lazy lunch at one of the many gorgeous cafes.

In the afternoon, the coffee shops and bakeries with aromatic blends will invite your taste buds to try the cakes, sweets, pies, rolls and handmade artisan bread, then wash it all down with a fruit smoothie, milk shake or tea and coffee. At dinner, you can try one of the restaurants, the spicy flavours of Indian or Chinese, traditional fish'n'chips or make your choice from an Al a Carte menu.

The large gastronomic variety will pose a taste bud dilemma when you visit Otaki and Te Horo: to encompass all of the dishes in just a few days is impossible – you'll need a whole lifetime to sample all the amazing food available.

Any food outlet's missing? Drop me an email zero.hero@zilchoo.com and we'll add them to the list!

We've put togther a couple of then and now photographs. What do you remember from this wonderful town ?
