About Kapiti Artisan Bakehouse...
We make our breads pretty much as they were made in Europe 200 years ago- apart from the electricity of course. The breads are totally natural with no preservatives, no additives, no artificial ingredients. Our aim is to make a product that is athentic, healthy and delicious.

Pavlova - a Kiwi christmas Classic

Pavola, the traditional Kiwi Dessert, no party is a success without one!  Te Papa, New Zealand's national museum in Wellington, celebrated its first birthday in February 1999 with the creation of the world's largest pavlova, named "Pavzilla", which was cut by the Prime Minister of the time, Jenny Shipley.
